  1. Dr T says:

Product was exactly what I wanted. One nice feature is the 3 ft wire that can attach to the remote sensor to offer even more flexibility to the placement of the sensor.

  2. ACT says:

This product is horrible. You must have an eyeglass screwdriver to install or replace batteries, the atomic clock does not work, and the inside unit constantly loses contact with the outdoor unit (they are placed not more than 6 feet from each other). I wish I had saved my receipt, but instead I will just throw it in the trash. Money wasted.

  3. I got it for Christmas 2008. By mid=February 19, 2009 the remote unit first started giving erratic readings, then died. At first I hoped it was a dead battery, but new batteries made no difference. Apparently despite being labeled “Indoor/Outdoor” the remote unit can’t handle being left outside.

If you do buy it, make sure you have a very small Phillips screwdriver on hand to remove the remote’s battery cover. Two of the screws are in very deep recesses and impossible to access otherwise.
