I love the projecton that help me every morning knowing time right away by project time in red light upon the ceiling. The helpful wireless outdoor thermometer transmit to this weater station continously helps me alot in preparing how to wear everyday. Love the icon too, very cute and meaningful

I like the way the station works. Hopefully the outside weather attachment will hold up. The numbers are easy to read and I like the time projection on the ceiling. Setting the clock up is a pain. The direction book is small and not very easy to follow. I almost sent it back because I didn’t feel like dealing with the directions. Once I got it running, I like it. The outside transmitter doesn’t transmit anywhere near as far as it claims. I originally set it up in our guest room less than 20 feet from where the outside transmitter was mounted and it wouldn’t connect.

This was a Christmas gift in MN- so it’s been put through the paces in terms of weather. So far we love the little man, even when he’s predicting non-existant rain, it seems all forecasters do that! The outdoor humidity reading has been a little tough, but relocating the sensor to a more protected location seems to have helped. Additionally I feel that a permanent backlight option would be nice, to improve viewing it at night from a distance. And, it doesn’t hang on the wall. Next time mine will hang on the wall.

We are happy with it so far. The design is nice, functional: you can get the info at a glance. I would guess the temperature readings are not very accurate, +/- 1 Celsius: when I keep the outdoor sensor next to the unit, the unit shows 1 degree centigrade more than the sensor. We had worse. I guess we’ll have to accept that these things will never be as reliable as the liquid based ones.
The projection is nice, well readable in the dark. You can adjust the position of the projection by rotating it 90 degrees at a time. It can alternate between the time and the outdoor temperature. Why not the indoor temperature, I wonder; that would be more of interest to me.

I purchased this product mainly because it displays both indoor and outdoor humidity, in addition to indoor and outdoor temp. A lot of units only display indoor humidity. I live in a very dry climate, and knowing the outdoor humidity helps me to plan for extra hydration when I exercise outdoors. The forecast icon is also helpful for knowing how to dress for outdoor activity. The projection atomic dual alarm clock has proven to be a great bonus. I was afraid that my husband would find the projected image on the ceiling to be distracting when he is having difficulty falling asleep; he is not one to feign emotion, but he actually commented on how much he enjoys having the time and outdoor temp up there where he can read it before getting out of bed (he was a little disappointed that it is only visible in a darkened room, but we are always up before dawn anyway). I am very nearsighted, but I can read the numerals on the ceiling very easily without corrective lenses; I have always had to squint to read the clock on the nightstand. It’s also great to have a clock that always shows accurate time. The alarm tone is a little annoying, but after all it is the annoyance that convinces us to wake up! Unlike some other reviewers, I didn’t find the instruction manual difficult, and found that it even provides a bit of educational info. I like that this unit uses AA batteries and not some expensive, obscure size. I use rechargeable AA for almost all of our electronics. I keep the unit plugged into the wall AC, but it’s good to know that it has battery backup in the event of power failure. I haven’t had to change the batteries in the outdoor transmitter yet, so I can’t comment on that process; however it doesn’t appear difficult by the owner’s manual. Overall I’ve been very pleased with this purchase, and the price was quite reasonable.
